Foi com espanto que recentemente descobri esta pérola no iOS:
Nem me vou alongar com comentários porque penso que são desnecessários, de tão óbvia e grave que a questão é.
Enviei a seguinte mensagem para a Apple:
There’s a error on your language selection menu on iOS.
Being that the Portuguese language has two variants, the ones used in Portugal (and the rest of countries) and Brazil, and that Portugal is the origin of the language, you should list them and “Portuguese” and “Portuguese (Brazil)” and not “Portuguese (Portugal)” and “Portuguese” has you’re doing it.
Either this is an error or you’re once again redefining the way people interact with technology has you do in each and every release of your software and hardware. You see, every major software refers to the Portuguese language as “Portuguese” and the Brazilian variant as “Portuguese (Brasil)”, except Apple.
